CONCEPTS
Procurement & Supply chain concept
In many organisation their most unknown risk is the delivery of their inbound materials or services from suppliers. The local or multi-site risk situation of those external parties can have a big impact on their own production and business continuity. Therefore it is important to analyse and rank all suppliers and their processes to validate the likelihod and the potential impact on a stop or breach in delivery. Double sourcing, storage capacities and contractual agreements are a few examples of how to manage those risks.
Security & Fire prevention concept
To keep an intruder's chance of success to a minimum an optimal balance between "detection", "resistance" and "intervention time" is critical. Preventing those risks that really can harm the organisation at the most economic way and with the lowest possible impact to "user experience" is the challenge of a security concept.
Statistics teach us that companies in all markets can have an important fire with catastrophic consequences. Very often the sense “we are insured against fire” is used without knowing the in-depth consequences of a fire. Afterall insurance companies will only ensure the direct costs but will not influence the probability and will not cover the indirect costs
